Low contact resistance

When two metal conductors come into contact, there is an additional resistance in the contact area, called contact resistance. The magnitude of contact resistance is influenced by various factors, such as contact pressure, surface state of the contact area, and the conductive properties of the conductor. A larger contact resistance will result in higher voltage drop and temperature rise, which will affect the temperature rise of the equipment and thus affect its normal use.

The Zhuoneng series products use highly conductive copper alloy materials for their conductor parts, especially special alloys with elastic stability and strong fatigue resistance for connecting components, ensuring long-term stability and reliability of contact pressure; At the same time, the surfaces of these conductors are treated with tin plating and bottom layer treatment, forming a high smoothness contact area and a large contact area. Coupled with a scientifically reasonable wiring mechanism, the product has a low contact resistance. Even after 200 insertions and removals, its contact resistance is still ≤ 3m Ω, far less than the international standard 1EC60947-7-1/EN60947-7-1 of 5m Ω.

Screw self-locking, reliable connection

Zhuoneng products use the "Reakdyn principle" to prevent terminal screws from loosening. In the product series with a rated cross-section up to 10mm 2, the clamping body adopts a lifting cylinder structure. Their working principle is based on the so-called "lifting cylinder principle". When tightening the screw, the screw is pressed against the current bar, causing the clamping body to move upward, thereby making the wire in the clamping body tightly adhere to the current bar and finally clamped. Due to the high contact pressure of the terminal, the wire can be embedded in the soft tin coating of the current bar. As a result, the contact resistance obtained on the 4mm 2 terminal is only 0.3m Ω, which is significantly lower than the minimum value required by IEC60947-7-1/EN60947-7-1 standard.

In this type of clamping structure, screw self-locking is achieved through the "Reakdy gap" on the upper part of the lifting cylinder. By increasing the torque and tightening the screw, the lifting cylinder undergoes elastic deformation, resulting in automatic step locking that gradually increases the frictional force of the screw.

Wires do not require pre-treatment

The clamping body of Zhuoneng terminal allows various copper wires to be wired without pre-treatment.

When using screw terminals, it is not allowed to dip the pre connected wires in tin. Solder will deform and break under high pressure, causing an increase in contact resistance and unacceptable temperature rise. In addition, it cannot be ruled out that corrosion may occur at the tin dipping part of the wire due to acid washing or flux, as well as the phenomenon of fine copper wire breakage at the transition between the rigid part formed by tin dipping and the flexible part of the wire.

When using flexible wires for wiring, the use of tubular ends can prevent wire branching. We recommend using copper tubular ends as a principle to minimize the impact on the current transition and avoid the occurrence of stress cracking corrosion. High quality tools can be used to press the tubular ends into a shape suitable for the clamping cavity, making it easy to insert the wire into the clamping body.

Shell material

The nylon used for Zhuoneng terminals is a semi crystalline material, which is an indispensable material in modern electrical and electronic technology. It has long dominated practical applications and has obtained UL certification CSA、NEMKO、KEMAPTB、SEV、VDE、 Obtain certification from relevant certification bodies.

Nylon can still maintain good electrical, mechanical, chemical, and other properties at high temperatures. It has excellent heat aging resistance and can withstand high temperatures up to 200 ° C in a short period of time. The melting points of different types of nylon (PA4.6, 6.6, 6, 10, etc.) range from 215 ° C to 295 ° C.

Nylon can absorb moisture from the surrounding environment, with an average of 2.8%. The absorbed water molecules have a certain binding with the chemical composition of nylon, so even at low temperatures of -40 ° C, nylon can maintain its elasticity without breaking. According to the UL94 standard, the flame retardant rating of PA is V2 to VO.
